Residential Inspections

Found your home in West Palm Beach, Jupiter or anywhere nearby. What’s next?

A home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the home, designed to identify defects within specific systems and components: roof, electrical, structure, heating and cooling, plumbing, appliances and more.

Purchasing a home is one of the largest single investments you will make, and you are usually limited by an inspection period. We identify deficiencies major and minor, determine potential safety hazards, flag issues that may cause future problems, and note maintenance that has been neglected. That covers all areas of the home: roof, structure, electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, irrigation, swimming pools and other components.

Let us help you. We are here to represent you.

Our commitment is an inspection that gives a full overview of the home, and the knowledge to understand it. Our inspectors are trained and certified to help you make your decision, to negotiate concessions, budget for alterations and avoid costly repairs. And we never rush an inspection. It is important to know all the details about your purchase.

Insurance Inspections

Wind mitigation & four point.

Wind Mitigation

Our certified inspector looks for the key features and add-ons your home may have that reduce damage in a hurricane or strong windstorm. We verify how the roof is attached to the exterior walls, how the roof sheathing is secured to the roof system, check for window and door protection, and document all of it. The report goes to your insurance company to determine which credits apply to your home annually.

A wind mitigation is typically valid for 5 years, saving you money now and years to come. Whether you are buying or already own your home, we always recommend having an up-to-date wind mitigation on file.

Four Point Inspection

A four point inspection may be required by an insurance company before a homeowner’s policy is written. It verifies the current condition of the roof, electrical, plumbing and HVAC to reduce the insurance company’s liability. Components in poor condition may fail, leading to fire or water damage.

Note: a four point inspection is not a home inspection and should not be used as one.

Both wind mitigation and four point inspections are filled out on the specific forms used by the state and insurance companies.

Storm damage to a roof - post-storm inspection
Post-Storm Inspection

After a storm, the damage is not always easy to see.

When a major storm passes through, damage is not always easy to see. Our Post-Storm Inspection provides a thorough evaluation of the home’s exterior and interior to help identify potential storm-related damage and conditions that may require attention.

Our inspectors examine accessible areas of the roof, exterior surfaces, windows and doors, electrical components, attic, interior areas, and other key systems for visible signs of damage, water intrusion, or other concerns related to the storm.

You will receive a detailed, photo-documented inspection report outlining our findings and recommendations. This service can help homeowners better understand the condition of their property following a storm and provide valuable documentation when communicating with contractors, property managers, or insurance professionals.

Our goal is simple: help you understand what happened to your home and what needs attention before a small problem becomes a major one.

Post-Storm Inspection
11 Month Warranty Inspection

Before your one-year anniversary.

Prior to the one-year anniversary of the purchase of your newly built home, we recommend an inspection. It identifies, in detail, any defects or issues that occurred during your first year of ownership.

The inspection is a full evaluation of the property: roof, electrical, structure, heating and cooling, plumbing and other components. That gives you an opportunity, during your one-year builder warranty period, to have defects identified and corrected.

You receive a detailed inspection report along with a deficiency list to supply to your builder for repairs.
