Billings Home Inspections covers all of Palm Beach County, as well as St. Lucie, Martin and North Broward counties. We have licensed inspectors on staff and 2 office personnel assisting with the day to day for our partner agents and clients alike.

Joe, our Lead Inspector, and Bill, our founder and a Certified Master Inspector and Certified General Contractor, are both 203(k)/FHA consultants. Our inspectors are the preferred choice for home inspection and sewer scope services in West Palm Beach, Wellington, Jupiter and the surrounding areas.

Our reports are web-based, user friendly and highly interactive. We strive to deliver the report within an hour of the inspection. Any additional reports ordered, WDO, wind mitigation and the rest, are typically available within 24 hours of the inspection in the same report link.

Experience is just the beginning

From a Baltimore job site to a South Florida family business.

Our company started in 2003. Bill, our founder and owner, was working as a superintendent for a large construction company, and he saw a need for quality inspectors as he planted his roots in South Florida.

Bill started in construction over 45 years ago to provide for his growing family just outside Baltimore, Maryland. As he progressed through the field he became a superintendent on large-scale sites across Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC. In the early 2000s he transferred to South Florida with his wife Mary.

He began completing inspections part time while also obtaining his general contractor's license. Bill eventually left his career as a superintendent and started his inspection business. As it grew, Mary joined him in creating Billings Home Inspections. They built the company on a positive reputation that is still present in the real estate industry today.

As the business grew and thrived, they asked the family to join them. Their youngest son Joe relocated his family from Maryland, where he was a service manager for a national transportation refrigeration company. Joe brought a vision of technology and innovation to Billings Home Inspections, and our current system was developed to give agents and clients the best possible inspection experience.

As the business continued to flourish, several inspectors were added to the Billings inspection team. Leanna, Joe's wife, joined to assist with marketing and office management, and to help continue the level of service our clients have come to expect.

William Billings

Founder / Co-Owner

Bill is the founder of Billings Home Inspections and built the company on more than 40 years of construction experience and a commitment to providing honest, thorough inspections. He began performing home inspections on the side in 2004 before growing Billings Home Inspections into the family-owned company it is today. During his inspection career, Bill spent 18 years inspecting homes throughout Palm Beach County, bringing extensive hands-on construction knowledge and real-world experience to every inspection. While he is now retired from full-time inspecting, Bill continues to be an important part of the Billings Home Inspections team, assisting with inspections, mentoring inspectors, and providing his expertise whenever needed.

Joe Billings

Lead Inspector & Co-Owner

Joe is a Team Leader at Billings Home Inspections and a Certified Home Inspector with more than 10 years of experience in the home inspection industry. He began his inspection career in 2014 and brings a strong background in HVAC, with more than 10 years of hands-on experience in the field. As a Florida-licensed home inspector serving South Florida, Joe combines his inspection experience and HVAC expertise to provide clients with thorough, practical insight into the condition and performance of their homes. His goal is to help homeowners, buyers, and real estate professionals better understand a property and make informed decisions with confidence.

Alfredo Gonzalez

Inspector

Alfredo is a key inspector at Billings Home Inspections, bringing eight years of home inspection experience throughout South Florida. He is bilingual and completed his home inspection training courses through InterNACHI, followed by extensive field training with our experienced inspection team. Alfredo is known for his exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and keen eye for identifying potential issues. He combines his technical knowledge with a commitment to helping clients better understand their homes and make informed decisions with confidence.
